ZNANSTVENO SODELOVANJE Z UNIVERZAMI IN RAZISKOVALNIMI INŠTITUTI

ReSoil® tehnologija je stroškovno učinkovita prebojna eko-inovacija, ki omogoča remediacijo degradiranih območij. Kot trajnostno tehnologija (ohranja funkcionalnost tal, okolju prijazna, brez emisij) je ReSoil tehnologija vzbudila široko zanimanje v znanstveni skupnosti. Prof. Domen Leštan vodi raziskave in razvoj pri podjetju Envit d.o.o. in raziskovalno skupino na Oddelku za agronomijo, Biotehniške fakultete, Univerze v Ljubljani (UL). Envit in UL sodelujeta z znanstveniki v tujini. Z Univerzo za naravne vire in znanosti o življenju na Dunaju (Universität für Bodenkultur Wien, BOKU) pri raziskovalnem projektu o upravljanju demonstracijskih zelenjavnih vrtov v Sloveniji in Avstriji, kjer so tla remedirana z ReSoil® tehnologijo. Projekt sofinancirata Slovenska raziskovalna agencija (ARRS) in Avstrijski znanstveni sklad FWF (FWF Der Wissenschaftsfonds). Lastnosti organske snovi v tleh, remediranih z ReSoil® tehnologijo, se preučuje v sodelovanju med UL in znanstveniki z Univerze v Vidmu v Italiji (Università degli Studi di Udine). Onesnažena tla iz Pribrama na Češkem so bila prav tako remedirana z uporabo ReSoil® tehnologije. UL in znanstveniki s Češke univerze za znanosti o življenju v Pragi (Česká zemědělská univerzita v Praze) opravljajo raziskave ekosistemskih storitev remediranih tal.

Rezultate raziskav z uporabo tehnologije ReSoil® smo objavili v naslednji znanstveni literaturi in jih predstavili na domačih in mednarodnih znanstvenih konferencah:

Remediacija s kovinami onesnaženih tal v Mežiški dolini z uporabo ligandov in elektrokemijskih naprednih oksidacijskih procesov

V okviru projekta Model remediacije vrtnih tal v Zgornji Mežiški dolini (Z1-4272) smo pripravili posnetek stanja onesnaženosti tal.

Z ReSoil® tehnologijo pranja tal z uporabo liganda EDTA smo dokazali učinkovito odstranjevanje potencialno toksičnih kovin in zmanjšanje biološke dostopnosti preostalih kovin v tleh pod mejo detekcije. V povprečju se iz zemlje s področja Zg. Mežiške doline z remediacijo odstrani 75% svinca, 34% cinka in 75 % kadmija, biodosegljivost svinca in cinka v črevesni fazi človeškega prebavnega sistema se zmanjša za 99 in 96%. Z dognojitvijo tal po remediaciji smo dosegli njihovo ponovno uporabo kot substrata za uspešno rast rastlin.
