Results of Slovenian Research agency public call for the (co-)financing of research projects in 2021

The post doctoral project application of Envit's researcher dr. Simon Gluhar, is one of those selected at national public call (co-)financed by Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS).

Post doctoral project titled "Remediation of soil contaminated with toxic metals, metalloids and organic pollutants" aims to design a novel soil washing process for simultaneous removal of toxic metalloids and metals from contaminated soil. The objective of this project is to demonstrate the feasibility and sustainability of novel process for simultaneous removal of toxic metalloids As and Sb and toxic metals from contaminated soil. Another objective is to investigate the possibility to remove hazardous organic pollutants from contaminated soil adjacent with toxic metalloids and metals.
