Ex-post monitoring visit of LIFE Project: LIFE12 ENV/SI/000969 ReSoil

Ex-post evaluations of closed projects are an important tool to assess the strengths of the LIFE Programme and to review the impacts of interventions that often cannot be captured at the final report stage.

The visit showed that the issue addressed by the LIFE12 ENV/SI/000969 ReSoil project, cost-effective soil remediation, is still highly relevant to the Union policies concerning contaminated soils and coincides with the European Commission's impact assessment of a proposed Soil Health Law (planned for 2023).

The post-project activities allowed us to further improve the performance of the ReSoil technology. 

The external monitoring team of the LIFE Programme was positively impressed by our plans to upgrade and develop a Mobile soil remediation plant.
